Newborns are easiest to photograph between 5–17 days old, when they’re at their sleepiest and most poseable. I’ve also captured those dreamy newborn moments with babies up to 4 weeks old, always working around your baby’s natural rhythm for a stress-free experience.

I recommend booking your newborn session before your baby arrives, ideally during your second trimester or early in the third. Once baby is born, we’ll schedule the session within the first 17-21 days, when they’re most likely to be calm and curl‑y.

How long does a newborn session take?

Sessions usually run 1–3 hours. I never rush. We take breaks for feeding, soothing, and settling as needed to make sure your baby stays comfortable throughout.

What should we wear for the photos?

Soft, neutral colors photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your baby. I provide guidance on wardrobe choices for parents and siblings to help everything feel coordinated and timeless.

We will also have time to choose albums, heirloom wall art pieces, and any gift products you may want to purchase. Please note that I do not send unedited online galleries for viewing.
